2373H6U delivery time? Should i order?

Anyone know the delivery time on the 2373H6U?

Yeah, I know... I could call lenovo and find out, but I thought it might be useful to check the word on the street.

Are folks getting these in 'a week or so', or are we waiting a month?

Should I order one? Whats the history with ibm introducing
new TP models once there's some mild deals like these?

I'm contemplating waiting until there's a T44 or T50, only to drive
down the cost of the T42 another couple hundred bucks.

I ordered a T42 2373H6U on Octo 14

the machine shipped out from H.K on Octo 18

I got it today in the morning and using it now, I'm in East Lansing

The entire process takes about a week, I'm satisfied with it

They shipped in about 10 days, however, they have been in US customs 3+ days now with no signs of movement.

My T42 finally arrived this morning after spending a week in Louisville.

I can echo what is being said right now. Ordered mine 10/12. Shipped Hong Kong on 10/18 and delivered to Kansas City this morning. Got is set up and typing on it right now.
