[solved] T41 weird battery pb after mobo replacement

Hello all,

yesterday IBM came to change my mobo because I had pbs with the optical drive. Since then when my AC adapter is plugged in the power manager tells me the battery is not in charge. When I unplug the ac adapter it says that the battery is in charge. And when I turn off my T41 the battery lid stays on and orange as if I was charging the battery.

I can't figure what is the problem here. Does anyone has an idea?

Sounds like a hardware problem to me, possibly a side effect of the main board replacement. Since it also sounds like you have on-site service, I'd give them a call and open a new service request.

indeed it was the mobo again.
IBM came today and changed agin the mobo. Works like a charm.
Now if you have the problem you know the only solution.
