T42p wireless link delay.

This is not a big problem but has anyone noticed that the T42p takes longer than previous ThinkPads to shake hands with a wireless connection. My 2373KXU boots up very rapidly, just like my previous ThinkPads. This machine's hardrive shows no activity when done booting yet it seems to take an additional 60-90 seconds after all hard drive activity stops before the wireless strength meter comes up followed by the net connection link.

If I wake the TP42p up from suspend, the wireless connection is available in just seconds. Maybe I am missing a setting or something but I never had this happen on my T40 or R50.

Other than this I love my new T42p 2373KXU better than any other laptop I have owned.

Any suggestions?

Yup noticed this too and I'm trying to track this down because
it's a little odd. I don't remember the default 3.10 (what my
machine came with) doing this but, then again I wasn't using
3.10 alot before I moved to 3.21. so my memory is fuzzy.
