Hey everyone. Is it normal that the max screen brightness is not as bright when your on battery vs AC?

There is a BIOS option to have the screen stay at the same brightness when the ThinkPad is on battery. I think you can also set this in the Access IBM ThinkPad Configuration utility.
Homebuilt PC: AMD Athlon XP (Barton) @ 1.47 GHz; nForce2 Ultra; 1GB RAM; 80GB HDD @ 7200RPM; ATI Radeon 9600; Integrated everything else!
