Hi there,

trying to setup an external CRT for dual display (mirrored). I go through the wizard for a new profile in PD, but it only allows me to set the external resolution of 1400x<whatever>, the resolution of the thinkpad LCD.

My CRT can do much higher, but specifically I want to set it with 1600x<whatever> at at least 85Hz refresh rate.

The PD only lets me set 60Hz refresh.

I am using the latest version of PD.

Is there another way of setting up mirroring? The PD doesn't seem like it is all that capable.

Nevermind.

It looks like having the image piped to the LCD and an external display forces resolution of the external display to match that of the LCD.

I created a profile to only output the image to the external display and was able to select all the resolutions available.
