ThinkPad Multi-Burner Ultrabay Slim Drive

#1 Post by akhavan » Tue Jul 06, 2004 3:45 am

1.) Hi,

I have changed my T41P CD-RW/DVD to IBM ThinkPad Multi-Burner Ultrabay Slim Drive (MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-812). It works great except one of my softwares is no longer compatible / doesn't work.

The software is DVDIdle Pro which has DVD Region+CSS Free

http://www.dvdidle.com/dvd-idle-pro.htm

It worked great with CD-RW/DVD BUT according to their help desk it will not work with DVD-RAM. So I do not want to carry both CD-RW/DVD and the Multi-Burner with me when I travel.

Anybody know of another similar software which would work with DVD-RAM?

Thanks

Sepehr

2.) Hi,

I have made DVD-RW in my Multi-Burner Ultrabay Slim Drive (MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ-812) in T41P and it works fine.

But when I put my CD-RW/DVD (DVD/CD-ROM) in my T41P it can not see / read the DVD-RW why? What am I doing wrong?

What format would work for both?

Thanks

Sepehr

Uh, you don't need to start two threads with the same title man...just ask both questions in the same thread.

for removing CSS code and Region data ive always used DVD Decrypter, you can just use that to rip the DVD to your drive then play it off the drive
