Just got myself a brand new t42p and it really does live up to my high expectations.
The only gripes is the amount of non necessary and ill-functioning bloatware IBM decided to ship with the OS and what appears to be specks of dust on the inside of my screen.
They dont look like bad pixels just tiny reductions in brightness scattered in a random pattern in the lower end of the screen 4/5 down from the top.
I've tried searching for someone with a similar problem but so far nothing have come up.
So if anybody has an idea what's causing it, whether theres a manual resolve or if I'll have to send the whole thing in for service, I'd really like to know.
best regards, and thanks for a nice forum.
