Rapid Restore Ultra.

Hi all newbie here. I have searched the forums but was unable to find some information. Looks like my copy of rapid restore is corrupt. It has not run in over few months and I lost about 20GB of disk data. I want to recover the disk space by removing the installation of Rapid Restore. I was thinking of using the new R&R but that won't install untill I have removed the old software. Leonvo/IBM website does not have any information on troubleshooting (that I can find anyhow) uninstalling corupt versions (that's what it says when I try to uninstall it) of Rapid Restore.
