Folders or Files? You need the Client Security Solution Softawre for that...It tunes on the Embedded Security Chip; you can also save passwords and, if I remember correctly, replace them with the Fingerprint Reader. Careful, though, this Security is over-kill even for most Admins. DO NOT Forget the Passphrase.

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

The Client Security Solution can create a "vault" ... or you can encrypt your hard drive ... if you just want a folder that requires a password to remove/open files, you could just use WinZip 10. WinZip 10 Pro has a lot of other nice features, like scheduled backups, etc. If you don't have a data backup utility (other than the IBM R&R utility), it might do several things that you want.
I don't use the "vault" myself, I just password protect Office files as needed, and use Zip for others.

You can encrypt single files and whole folders with the IBM Security System; Office Passwords are a bit unsafe as there are many tons of Office "Lost Password" Cracker/Retrival Programs out there and zipping a bunch of files can be a hassle.

One man's hassle is another's routine practice. And nobody's tried to crack my Office files in, oh,... well, nobody's ever tried. YMMV, YMMV....
