Should I wait for t42 or just get 43...

#1 Post by motion51 » Fri Nov 18, 2005 9:45 am

i called the IBM today for asking availability of the t42..
then they said, they are replacing 42 by 43 so they have them in stocks
i have to order and wait for 14 or more days to get it..
but i heard that usually it takes longer than that.. anybody has experience to order and wait for them?
for heat and structure problem, i have decided to purchase t42 or t42p..
what should i do!! is IBM/Lenov taking that long to get me the laptop after i order them??
I need them for school asap...

Go and see if your school has its own stock of T43s or T42s...In a "Student Store" or something like that; if they do, might as well get them from there if you need it ASAP. :)

I met someone who looks a lot like you.
She does the things you do.
But she is an IBM.

I prefer order from IBM directly.. coz, I do the same..
usually, it only sooner than the timing they say..
I only waited 7 days..

I had to wait for 2 months for my CTO T43. For my other TPs, it has been from 10-25 days. If you need a laptop ASAP, you can go to Officedepot and get a TP these days.
