Replace T42p (Intel Centrino) B-WLAN Card with (A)BG-Card

#1 Post by renew » Wed Nov 23, 2005 4:28 am

I am thinking to replace the WLAN Card on my T42p because it only supports the 802.11b,

AFAIK the WLAN-Card is underneath the palm rest.
Is this correct?

Actually I don't know witch screws must be loosened to remove the palmrest and get access to the WLAN-Card.

And is there anything else I have to consider when replacing the card? (hardware related - the driver A/C - threads I have already read. ;))

Thank you, yours renew
