T41 Mirrored DVD playback - blank on external

I had a presentation the other day requiring the playback of a DVD. I figure that i'd have the video output mirrored so that what i was seeing was what everyone else was seeing. It turns out that the projector was displaying the InterDVD program frame, but no video. The video was showing up correctly on my LCD.

does anyone else have this problem? I was able to show the DVD by "extending my desktop" to the projector, and then opening the DVD on that screen. The problem is that i have to extend the desktop before starting the program, and i have no clue what i'm playing.

anyone have any suggestions? i believe i have the Radeon 7500.

That would be the Overlay Control, check to see if you have that enabled. There was a Thread here recently talking about this.
