Install SXGA+ on XGA model, is it possible?

#1 Post by affy » Tue Nov 29, 2005 1:33 am

I have a 2373-14G which has a 14 inch XGA LCD. Is it possible to replace it with a 14 inch SXGA+ LCD? Are the connectors the same?

Have a look at the Hardware Maintenance Manual to see if you can see what connectors are used:

The VGA ribbon is different. You will need to change the ribbon as well. The rest are all compatible.
