About to buy a Manager's Pick T43

So after essentially living on these forums for the past week or so, just reading almost every topic, I've settled on a T43. On the IBM site, there are manager's picks that are basically heavily discounted T43's. I configured one with these specs:
2668A1U
Pentium M Processor 750 (1.86GHz 2MB L2 533MHz FSB)
14.1 inch SXGA+ (1400x1050) TFT Display
256MB PC2-4200 CL4 NP DDR2
64MB ATI Mobility Radeon X300
60GB 7200rpm Hard Drive
ThinkPad Multi-Burner 4X Max DVD
IBM a/b/g Mini PCI Adapter
ThinkPad T40/R50 Series 6 Cell Li-Ion Battery
I get 512mb of ram free, making the total 768

I'm going to replace the 256 dimm with a 1gb one that i saw in this thread http://forum.thinkpads.com/viewtopic.ph ... =transcend, thus giving me 1.5gb.

So the price on the IBM site is 1748 if i select the manger's pick, and then configure. But, if i configure the same exact model from the CTO page then the price is like $700 more with the same specs. I realize the chassises (plural of chassis lol) among the t43's are the same, but is there something inherently not valuable about that particular model that would make lenovo discount it so much? It seems like a good deal, and I'm sooo ready to pull the trigger on it in hopes of it getting here before Christmas.

Also, I've looked in the tabook and I can't find the model 2668A1U; the reason being that I want to figure out if i can just add the bluetooth card rather than the card and the atenna.

I'm not sure what makes them choose the manager's specials, but I wouldn't worry about anything being wrong with them. Maybe they made too many of them at one time? Piece of paper drawn out of a hat? Someone else might know, but I got mine as a manager's special, and it was perfect; it even came with the NMB keyboard and the hydis screen (the 'good' ones).
I say go for it, the sooner you order, the sooner it will get to you.
