the brand name of memory

i could find the brand name of my T43 2668 hard disk (toshiba) and other devices, but i could never find out the brand name of the memory, i have tried some hardware detect sofrware but failed...
anyone has idea about this?

Have you tried taking it out and looking at it?

No, it doesn't effect your warranty. Memory is considered User Replaceable. If you need to know how to remove your memory, check your Hardware Maintenance Manual:

Everest will certainly find your make of memory. I just ran it on my T42. It's under SPD.

You just have to use the full version. The free evaluation probably doesn't offer that feature.

Opening your laptop will not void your warranty. Everest just makes it easier.
