Free RAM upgrade gone, when will it return??

I went to order my EPP T42 yesterday and saw that the free 512 RAM offer was gone, I saw it there as late as midnight on Monday.

Any sense of how often Lenovo/IBM runs this offer, could I expect to see it again in the next three weeks or so??

No idea, but you could try calling EPP to see if they'd backdate the RAM offer for your order. They're usually pretty flexible.

And don't forget you can change your order as many times as you like before it ships.

Pricing has been weird at Lenovo. Half the time it says it can't pull up the exact options but says the ones given are working for similar models.

I thought the 512 was good for a while longer. Ah well.

Funny, I got free shipping with my channel ... haven't seen a freebie RAM upgrade in a while. Since the price of 512 MB RAM is pretty low (I just got 1 GB for < $100), I was happy with free shipping instead.
