After two years, my T40's 6-cell Li+ battery only holds a one-hour charge. Tried running it down and recharging it a few times -- no luck.
Saw that there are various third-party batteries out there. Anybody know if they're worth buying? Found a Lenovo one at NewEgg for $120, but I'd rather spend less if I can.
Thanks!

I got a genuine IBM battery from PortableComponents (check google). They have a website and they also sell on ebay. The 9 cell was brand new, manufactured in September, I think, and it had a buy it now price that came out to just over $100 w/ shipping. They sell 6 cell too, but I'm not sure for how much.
