"Media Test Failure, Check Cable"

When ever I boot up my t43, I get this message before windows starts. Any ideas? Is this something I should worry about?

Any insight would be appreciated.

After your computer boots, does the CD/DVD drive work?

If not, you might want to remove the CD/DVD drive and reseat it.
