Hi Everyone,
As the topic states, my battery looks to be fully charged but it won't run on its own when I pull the AC adapter out. I took out the battery, put it back in, then a solid green icon would show up. But then it will start flashing again and my computer will just shut off.
So I decided to recondition my battery. Did that, looked good for a while, but the problem came back again. Right now I cannot start my computer unless the AC adapter is plugged in. Does this sound like I need a new battery?
Thanks

Hmmmm, have you tried Recalibrating the battery? I do know that, if the battery doesn't go through its proper recalibration cycle for the snesors, the Thinkpad might indeed ignore its presence.
Try doing a battery Reset, first off.
