T42 and Apple 23in LCD Cinema display

Anyone successfully hooked up an apple cinema display to their thinkpad through the dvi connector on the port replicator? I am wanting to get that new apple 23in aluminum display for my T42p and was wondering if its possible.

i dont think the DVI in the port replicator can go to 1920x1200

Is it based on the graphics card or is there a limit to the dvi connector. My thinkpad has the FireGL T2 128mg card.

Yes it works both on the 23" and the older 22" (1600x1024) Apple
displays. Since my system is a 14" T42p I had to use the Omega
ATI graphic driver set mentioned in other posts on this forums.
A small word of warning when using the 23" screen. The graphics
card might need a little tweaking using a util. called PowerStrip to
remove what looks like a small timing issue. I've not yet had time
to do this myself as I was shipped off to Europe last week and
haven't returned yet.

Found the solution.

I am just going to get the apple 30in lcd with the video card and then use remote desktop thats built into xp and remote in from the mac. Video card doesn't matter. MAN, 30 inches. Can't wait. Thats one big monitor.

I've got a T41 (2379-DJU), with the Radeon 9000 (only 32MB), but it says it'll do up to 2048 x 1532 (or what-have-you).

Will the DVI out drive the new Cinema 23" Display on this machine? (I've got one coming this way.) Anyone have experience with it?
