Issue: T42 loses connection and fails to reconnect when moved from one AP coverage area to another. Curent workaround: Bring up Thinkpad Advantage 4.0 dialogue, search for WLAN, select WLAN (which it always finds) and connect.
Secondary issue (occasional): on the 54G, T42 connects to AP but fails to communicate with router. Workaround: Use repair function in Windows network utility (which clears cache, etc.)
Setup: T42 with 2200 a/b/g card. Thinkvantage AC 4.0 (latest). Latest 2200 driver. 54G and WAP11 (connected by hardwire) all with latest firmware. Currently no WEP or WAP.
I know these types of issue have been covered in this forum. I just can't troubleshoot based on the prior posts.
Glad to provide additonal info. Thanks for the help.
