T41P - Upgradeability?

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who's helped me out in various threads for information on various thinkpads. I've decided to take the plunge and get a T41P for college.

The question I have now is, how are these things for upgradeability? I know that memory is a snap (2 GB will be ordered with it right away) as is a hard drive (so long as I have the recovery set, right?), but what about the optical drive? How about the proc? I might be ambitious enough to think about throwing a faster P-M in there, if it can take Dothans (AFAIK, T41p has a Banias 1.7)

As always, information on if its possible, and if so, what the frustration factor is, would be much appreciated.

If it helps, i'm somewhat adept at taking apart and rebuilding laptops. (i'm always fixing those d*mn Acer laptops that litter our corporate fleet.)

Well, the optical drive can be swapped out and replaced with the ones that IBM/Lenovo sell.

You need to post a model number to get specific help with this. I am assuming a 2373GEUsince you give no other info. This being the case, You can start your research
