T43 power management question

#1 Post by malcho » Tue Jan 03, 2006 3:10 pm

Hi,
Is it normal for the screen of my T43 to go black for a second when power schemes are switched? The screen will go blank every time the brightness is reduced due to power scheme switching, but it will not do that if I manually reduce the brightness using the function key and the Up/Down arrows.
thanks for your help
N

Some power schemes specify a different refresh rate after x minutes idle. When I "wake" mine up using one of the provided ones, the screen will blank momentarily.

Suggest you make up your own power scheme, you can exercise much more control. Though the provided "power source optimized" is pretty darn good.

I did make my own scheme. I suppose I should make one more to switch to when in idle mode
Thanks
