Whenever I output to both the projector and the thinkpad screen, part of the screen is cut off on the projected image. The image on the thinkpad is fine, but the projected image is cut short. If I output to just the projector, the image is normal again.
Should I be concerned about this, or is this normal.
Thanks!

Are you doing mirroring, or extending the desktop?
If extending, go into the last tab of the Display properties control panel, and check the #2 monitor ... sometimes I find at some fixed resolutions that don't match teh monitor/tv/projector, there's a "void" between the screens. You can see this if you drag the control panel from screen to screen, paying attention to where the top line is, the bottom line is ...
If mirroring, try a lower resolution. Maybe that projector can't keep up with your swankodelic T40/1/2/3 and its high resolution.
Also, in Presentation Manager, you can edit a scheme and use the test button. It will put up a test image on both screens, with moving arrows to indicate the borders. This will identify if the projector isn't capable of the resolution you're trying to use on it.
