T41 LCD hinge problem

Hey, I bought an IBM-refurbished T41p back in november (only 2 months ago), and already I am having trouble with it....This just started happening today, but whenever I move the LCD back and forth, the screen will blink, as if it loses its connection for a split second. I'd rather not send it back to IBM (although it has a 6 month IBM warrenty), so I'd like to know which componant is the most likely culprit of this problem, and how easy it is to replace on my own.
