2379-DXU owners?

Does anyone own this sytem or care to comment on it? I think after weeks of arduous research i have finally settled on this model.

If you are in a position to list pros/cons on this model (maybe in comparison to similar models) please do so. Any and all information is GREATLY appreciated!

do a search on this site for "2379dxu" - there are plenty of reviews.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago, and like it quite a bit. Would have prefered the same package in a 14" case, as I don't mind not having flexview, and will be toting it back and forth for years. But the DXU was $700 cheaper than the closest 14" competitor (2373GVU - T42p) (same, but 14", 1.8 Dothan, a/b/g wireless, FireGL)

But there is a surprising ammount of screen space - I hardly feel cramped at all, and I use a 21inch LCD all day at work. I haven't started any real data crunching, so I can't comment on true performance. I'm sure it will be meek in comparrison to that same work machine (2x2GHz Xeon, 1Gb RAM, insane video card), but seems pretty spry for gaming, word processing, internet, etc. so far.

Also wish we could get a 80GB 7200rpm drive in here. But upgrades are easy down the line...
