Thinkpad T41 Upgrading

I have (as you can tell from the subject) a T41. I right now have a cisco B wireless card. I would like to upgrade the wireless to a 2200bg or better. I was just wondering if anyone out there would know if it would be compatible. I have a 2374-R25. I would also like to upgrade to bluetooth. Is this possible? Thank you for any help I can get.

Can anyone recommend any other upgrades for me?

you can upgrade it to any IBM branded wireless card (IBM's version of the Intel 2200 b/g, Intel 2915 a/b/g, IBM II a/b/g).

The IBM atheros based chipset wireless card is what I have, its the newest made and is about 60 dollars from leveno. Ebay has IBM cards for 40.00.

It is as simple as swapping the old card for the new one and installing the drivers for the new card.

Hi,
yes you can do it however you will need to buy:
- bth card
- internal antenna
- clear plates
I did it by myself in my T41 (I bought bth card through Allegro which is polish version of eBay, the rest through official IBM Partner).
Before you do it you should read IBM manual which explains in details what to do. The hardest thing is to instal internal antenna. But without it the bth card will not work (in fact it won't catch any signal)
You may not need to instal clear plates as it is only a visiual effect - you will see the same way as wifi indicator that your bth is on or not.
