Access problem on my new T40

Hi,

I've just bougt a T40. But some how i can't seem to open a command promp or the task manager.

When ever i try to start the dos/command prompt it starts like normal and closes at once. Same thing with task manager.

Have anyone experienced the same problem?
How can i fix this, so I'm not restricted. And yes, my account is set to administrator.

If that happens with the Task Manager; then it sounds to me as if you have a Virus on your system. Run a Virus Scan and see what it finds.
