Old subject-Please help

Screen resolution-print size
I have a very nice T43 with 14" with SXGA screen 1400 x 1050 and I
cannot read the print (too small) If I change the resolution to
1024 x 768 I can read it but it seems fuzzy. I've read all the topics on this subject. If I would return for 15" with SXGA, would the print be exactly the same size just on a larger screen? If I get the XGA, it appears that I cannot get the 2.0 GHz processor. I've looked at the lessor spec'd unit at office depot and I can't tell much. Any thoughts and or suggestions? I really like this machine, but cannot live with it as is.
I am not smart enought to change 8 or 10 different things like someone else who had this problem did HELP!

Going with a 15" screen is likely going to make it harder for you to read. Right-click on your Desktop, click Properties, then Advanced. There you can set the DPI setting to increase the font size. You can try Large (120%) or select Custom and adjust to your liking. You'll have to reset to actually see the increase. I have mine set to 142% (136 dpi).

Thanks for your quick response- I tried what you suggested and it sort of works.

I have nice large stuff at the top and bottom of the screen but
this forum ( for example) didn't change ???? How can I get everything to change bigger.

one good thing to use if you have high resolution is ctrl and a scroll mouse it makes webpage font to increase or decrease depending where you scroll

Stronger eye glasses? Or wait for Windows Vista and its vector based UI.
