Got a new T41 this week -- some issues though

Finally got around to ditch my T20 and picked up a T41. Loving it so far but I'm starting to run into issues.

1. The display on my 21inch. monitor is really soft and cloudy when I set the refresh rate to 75 or 85Hz. I'm running it on 1600. It looks A LOT sharper on the LCD.

2. I'm experiencing some real slowdowns ... whenever I right click, it takes a LONG time for the window to pop up, at least 7-8secs. Also, if I click on one of the menus on the file menu it'll take forever to display the bar. For instance, if I click on "File" or "Edit" the menu takes forever to come up. The weird thing is that this only happens when I'm on the monitor not on the LCD.

3. I'm not getting any sound from my music cds ... they're real legitimate cds. And also it nevers stop spinning, I've tried multiple cds and still no go. I've installed a few programs with it with no issues though.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
