New T43 -- Blurry spots on Screen

I just got a 'refurbished' T43 (2668 4EU). I've had several Dells and an HP, but this is my 1st ThinkPad. Overall, I like it a lot.

However, there seems to be blurry areas on the screen. It's most noticable when in higher resolutions, like 1280x1024. At that resolution, if I look at a list files in Windows Explorer, about every other line has fuzzy text. It's still readable, and *almost* unnoticable, but the lines above & below it much clearer. Then, if I move the entire window up about a line's worth, the fuzzy line is clear, and the next one is fuzzy. (...which means that my eyes aren't just playing tricks on me: it's definitely fixed spots on the screen.) The fuzzy areas seem to be consistent horizontally across the screen.

Has anyone else experienced this?

You are running the LCD out of its native resolution. Things start to get weird when you do that.

put the screen at its native resolution. otherwise it looks blurry and weird...
