SuSe 10 and Active Protection on T4X

I am running Suse 10 on a couple of laptops (PIII 1GHZ, 1GB ram), no issues; best version ever.....anyways!

I was thinking of installing it on the T40, any ideas if anyone got the Active Protection to work under SuSe 10?

I know you can "emulate" windows drivers in Suse 10...but I do not want to give that option a try!
