Bluetooth antenna

Hi all, I've just bought my first TP (2668-W4P).
My only concern is about a little white cable (I think it should be the BT antenna) that is clearly visible (and you could even touch it) next to the hinge.
I suppose it was an improper installation, I think you couldn't see (and touch) any cable and it should have been hidden (all internal).
Or maybe I'm wrong...
If you confirm me my impression I could carry it to a local rep. and get it fixed..if you even think it should be easy enough to do it by myself , please let me know how to do it

Having it checked by the IBM service center is a good idea since you bought it brand new. If there are other problems your taking it to them will help in future to force them to know that it was faulty from the begining.

If you fix it yourself and something goes wrong you may not be covered in the warranty for unathorised repairs.

Stegarda, download the Hardware Maintenance Manual (sometimes called the FRU removal manual) for your model (same as mine, 2668). The LCD antenna wires route "through" the left hinge, but I cannot see why or how you could see and touch the wires. Look at that manual and if your TP's installation appears differently from what the HMM shows, take it in for service ASAP.

Sounds like both of you might have improperly installed BT antenna assemblies.
