down key stuck on T42

I bought a t42 in december and so far am VERY happy with it. However, today I noticed that when I touch once the key below the keypad (left side) to scroll down, it continues to scroll all the way down the page instead of just incrementally. This was not happening before and seems as if it gets stuck or something.

Sorry for the simplistic question but does anyone have any ideas or know why it does that and how to fix it?

Check the following: Go to Start > All Programs > ThinkVantage > ThinkPad Configuration. Click on TrackPoint. Choose Mouse Properties .... Choose Wheel tab, and under Scrolling make sure "One screen at a time" is not chosen.
