I have a T42 with a keyboard that creaks and a loose Sanyo battery.
I am thinking of calling to exchange for the improved keyboard and battery.
Do you need to provide credit card info to do this, or do they just send out the new stuff with a call tag for the old stuff?

They usually just send CRU parts out and expect you to return the old ones within 4 weeks. Don't know if the keyboard is considered a CRU (?) They have my credit card on file so they didn't ask me for anything else but if you don't return the part within the stated period they say they will bill you for it.
