HI. My Caps Lock Key doesn't respond like the others. I have to press it very hard and in the high central area on the key. Have any of you experienced this problem? If so, can it be 'repaired' or does it require keyboard replacement, etc.???
Thanks,
Bill
Nonworking "Caps Lock" Key on T42
Try to disassemble the CapsLock key, and check whether the mechanism that holds it in place and responds to the keypress is properly alligned. If the mechanism is broken, one could get away with replacing the CapsLock key only. But if the problem is electrical, replacement of the entire keyboard might be necessary.
