Upgrades for IBM T40 2373-75U

I just buy on ebay an SXGA LCD and an T41 motherboard to upgrade my T40 i would like to know if anyone have tried to install this motherboard on an laptop similar/like mine or maybe know if this LCD will work on my machine and which cables i am supposed to buy to install it.
The opinion of the members of this group is very important to me because you are the experts.

I am planning to use an Pentium 765 in the new motherboard and 2Gb of ram. ( I also buy them on ebay )

i was thinking of doing the same thing as u're doing, changing the LCD to a SXGA+ screen..

however, after thinking for some time, i realised that buying a used T42 with SXGA+ screen and BT or a used T42p might be a better option.

but now, i'm having trouble finding them used. i'm actually looking more at the T42ps with 14.1" SXGA+ LCD

Here i am with another question. If i can use the T41P motherboard with 128Mb Video do i have to use the long fan instead of the short one that is the only one i have, maybe someone has done this upgrade(if it's posible to do it ) If i have to use the long one i had to buy it.
Please advice..Carlos...
