I am getting a used Thinkpad from someone. Is there a way I can find out what hardware components (make/model) it contains. I can look its model number on the LENOVO Web site but there should be an online (ActiveX control like on Dell site) or offline (Windows utility) program that can probe every hardware nook and corner and give a list of make/model/part.

Please help in this regard.
