I have two new T43s I'm working on. When I try to log on to either of them the numlock feature is enabled so that if I press any keys in the area of the letters U, I, P, J, K, L, etc. I get numbers. I have to press Shift-NumLK to turn it off.
Is there anyway to change this so it's off by default?
Thanks.
SHIFT - NUMLK on by default?? Numbers instead of letters.
I see this often following a remote desktop connection from a desktop to a laptop. I believe you can fix it by connecting an external keyboard and turning numlock off before turning the laptop off. In the case of remote desktop, one needs to simply connect again and turn numlock off before logging off (IIRC).
