Another T-series convert

#1 Post by rdh » Thu Feb 16, 2006 9:53 pm

Hi,

First post, just wanted to say thanks to Bill and the members for the fantastic forum--I've had a great many questions answered here since I found this place. I'm a relative newcomer to Thinkpads; I bought my beloved A31p in 2004, and thought I'd never want a smaller laptop, but after reading a lot about the build quality and sturdiness of the T series, I made the plunge and bought a T41p, and liked that so much that I got a T42 as a backup. I've gotta say, the portability, power, and durability of these T's is excellent. All three machines running superbly to date. Hopefully Lenovo will keep the quality standards high. Thanks again!

Welcome.

The T-series is definitely a sweet spot in the mix of performance and portability, giving up almost nothing to the large desktop replacements in terms of power or comfort, while still being a real portable.
