T43 Locks Up in Standby

My T43 locks up when going into standby mode when an external usb mouse is connected. Standby works fine when mouse is not connected. Any ideas why? Thanks!

I use an external USB mouse, and I don't have any problems with Standby on my T42.

I have seen problems occur if you plug in or unplug hardware (including a USB mouse) while the laptop is in Standby. In other words if the hardware is different when you bring the laptop out of Standby, it can hang.

I think it is exclusive to the T43 - my wife has a T42 and it does not do this on her machine either. Strange. I have update all software and bios and it still happens.
