3 Month Warranty ???
I bought my T43p in June 2005, but today I when I called IBM for the strange fan noise problem, the rep told me my warranty was expired on September 12, 2005!
How could this happen? If I remember correctly, IBM's shortest warranty is 1 one year, is this correct? And when I bought it, I looked up on IBM's website, it showed 3 years.
[censored], I should have print out that page!

Yeah, their website shows the same result as the rep said.
I contacted IBM again, and they said that Entitlement department will contact me with this issue.
Obviously, something is meesed up. The warranty comes with 2687 is 3 year as the printed material shows which is along the machine I received.
And I even had them send me the Thai keyboard in September 2005.

OK, I bought from eBay in June 2005.
The machine is brand new, actually the build date is May 2005. The seller claimed to have 3 year warranty.
The day I got my machine, I made a warranty check on IBM website, it shows clearly 3 year warranty.
Actually, I place several service calls to IBM regarding my keyboard. The last one was in September 2005, and they finally got the right keyboard and sent to me.
