PC-Doctor test failed

#1 Post by rayxyz » Sun Feb 19, 2006 3:52 pm

I performed the video memory test on my T43 (ATI x300) and it fails with this message:

PCDr2D3DVideo (805) Error at pixel (0, 0): Input color ff not equal to output color 88. Display Mode:640x480x8

Does anybody have any idea what this means? I brought it in for repair, but they said that it doesn't really mean anything, and they won't do anything.

I also swapped the 512 MB memory module with a 1024 MB module, and the message disappears, but when I run memtest-86 on the 512 MB, it comes up clean.

I get the same error. According to Lenovo, it is an error in the PC Doctor for Windows program:
