Have swipe fingerprint twice when security chip is enabled

#1 Post by forum83 » Tue Feb 21, 2006 10:25 pm

Quick question -

I would like to swipe my fingerprint once during startup-

I have this working great when the security chip is disabled as soon as setup the security chip it requires me to swipe once for the supervisor and HDD password and then a second time to enter windows.

I would like to be able to have the security chip enabled and once I swipe for the supervisor and HDD passwords it automactically enters into windows without swiping again.

Thanks in advance

I believe this is set up in teh fingerprint software, enabling "power-on password also logs into windows."

Search on the forums, I'm pretty sure the procedure has been discussed previously.

I have read almost all the other threads before posting -

There is a check box for this setting - but when you enable the security chip this setting doesn't work, it still ask for the fingerprint when windows loads.

Explore the Advanced options of Client Security Solution ... there are logon settings in that dialog.
