T42 battery clip - repair/replace possible?

OK, so I just bought this T42:

The only defect in it is the left battery clip is broken (visible in the picture of the back).

So here are my questions:
How does one go about fixing this?

Can you get just the clip, or do you have to order the entire set of plastics?

Do you have to take the motherboard out to to the repair?

anyone know if you can replace just that clip, or do I need to get the whole bottem plastic piece?
