Dear all,
I recently noticed severe performance problems. After starting up my ThinkPad T42p a process called "certtool.exe" is using up most of the CPU. If I manually kill the process, everything's fine again and there don't seem to be any adverse effects.
Does anyone know what this certtool thingy is and how I can prevent it from automatic startup? Can I uninstall it completely and if yes, how?
Please forgive me, if this is the wrong group of the forum. The issue might very well be a general one or a software related one.
Cheers,
M.
