Hibernation Issues

#1 Post by rosemarycane » Sat Feb 25, 2006 9:39 pm

I have a Thinkpad model T43 2668. Whenever the computer is running off of battery power it will suspend, but it will not hibernate. If it is plugged in, it will hibernate, or if I push function f12. But on battery power it will not work.

I have tried to update the drivers, used pc doctor, did a complete factory restore and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks,

Sean

Just a thought. Go to Display Properties and disable Powerplay. See what happens.

EDIT: Oops!, had a typo there. Desktop Properties should have read Display Properties. I just changed it above.
