Does anyone else have a flickering battery indicator on their t43? I remember it is usually a steady green or orange depending on if its plugged in or not. Mines flickering and I'm trying to figure out if it means theres something wrong? (my computer is currently freezing up in windows and the bios, making me think theres a hardware or powersupply issue)
Thanks
Eric

If it's a steady blinking then it's running as it should - just means the battery is charging. If the indicator light is flickering accompanied by lockups or spontaneous reboots, then it very well may be a hardware issue. I'd recommend to unplug the machine, remove the battery and let stand for a half hour or so. Reinsert the battery, proceed to BIOS setup, select reset to default values and see if the problems persist. Sometimes this routine will flush out itty bitty issues and allow for normal operations. If the problem persists I'd certainly contact IBM for further advice.

From the Access IBM help info:
2. Battery status
Green: The battery is in use and has enough power. It also displays green when the ac adapter has charged the battery completely.
Blinking green: The battery is being charged, but still has enough power to operate. (At regular intervals, the indicator light turns off briefly.)
Orange: The battery is being charged, but the battery power is still low.
Blinking orange: The battery needs to be charged. When the indicator starts blinking orange, the computer beeps three times.
