Screen doesnt turn on at startup

Hello,

I just got a T43 and I love it... but,

Sometimes on startup, the screen doesnt turn on! If I close and open the screen (or just press the tiny"button" that detects when the screen is open) it pops on, and everything is fine. What could be wrong?

The little button switch by the left hinge is failing. If you are under warranty, you may want to send it in.
