T22 Deal on eBay...is this a good deal?

The price seems pretty good? I'm not familiar with the older thinkpad series...

Seems a pretty good deal to me - go for it! However I think I'm right in saying you can't increase the RAM above the 512 already installed -this won't be a problem for word processing etc.

It's ok, but I would always prefer the t23 model (between 600 and 800 USD):

-Rapid Restore 4.0 possible
- 2 USB interfaces
- up to 1 GB RAM possible
- faster processor
- WLAN upgradable
- often larger HD
